Students have the ability to drop a course within three weeks of the course start date for a full tuition refund. Refunds will be made via the original payment method selected by the family. *Fees are nonrefundable, and there will be a $10 refund processing fee that will be applied.
What accreditations does NSA hold?
NorthStarAcademy completed it’s most recent accreditation review in Spring of 2021 and has been recommended with the highest marks for reaccreditation until 2026. Today, NSA continues to have dual accreditation with both Cognia and ACSI.
What is the difference between vrp and evP courses?
VRP courses are offered year-round for all grade-levels. These courses do not require students to be online at a specific time of day and allow students the flexibility to work at their own pace.
EVP courses are offered once a semester beginning in the 8th grade. Due to the weekly one-hour live session in these courses, students are only allowed 3 absences and must follow the pace set forth by the teacher.
When should I enroll my student?
Enrollment for the new school year opens each year in April. While we offer enrollment year round, courses do have the ability to fill up. To guarantee your student’s seat in the courses of your choosing, we encourage you to enroll as soon as you are able. EVP course time slots are first come, first served.
How much will books and resources cost?
This cost will vary depending on which and how many courses you enroll your student in. Course materials can be purchased online through the online bookstore, BNC K-12, linked here.
